Season 2027 first turns

October 28 is a nice early start to season 2027. How amazing that my first turns of the season were powder turns. These turns were made at Strawberry pass today. Strawberry Pass is 16 km past Red Mountain Resort on highway 3B.

With rain in Rossland at about 2C, I was sure there would be decent first turns to be created. the skiing was much better than I hoped for. There is 15-20 cm up there, I skied the road only and the only rocks I hit were with my pole plants. An early start and a fantastic start.
