The Transition Season.
We are at a very special time of the year here in Rossland in a circumstance that does not happen every year. It has snowed before the deciduous and larch trees have lost thier leaves and needles. This create such a beautiful blend of green, orange, blue and white. It does not happen often, so I am making an effort to soak in as much of this natural wonder and possible.

The Topping Creek area is starting to bring back great carving memories.
Ski Day #3 was an added bonus to the day.
Red Mountain Resort, photo taken from the base lodge. It is obvious how Red's summer grooming program is going to pay of. Before this program, I would estimate that we would need 50-60 cm to open the Red Mountain T-bar. Now I am sure that it could be opened with 30 cm. Great work Red Mountain!
A magical Columbia Ave Rossland moment.
